Buckland Beehive
A preschool for children from the age of 2 years until they need to attend Reception class in a Primary School.
We aim to provide a fun environment for your child to naturally learn skills and experiences that will help them in the next stage of their lives.

The Snooker Club
The Snooker table is available for hire to anyone, at just £2.50 per hour. The hire period will be exclusive to the hirer and playing partners.
There is no requirement to join snooker club but advance booking and completion of a hiring agreement (once per annum for regular hirers) is required. Cues, Balls and use of lights are inclusive in the hire charge

Buckland Monachorum Drama Group
The Drama Group aims to put on two productions each year, together with play readings and social activities. New members, both acting and non-acting, always welcome.
This friendly group, one of only a few local art groups to meet in the evenings, have regular fortnightly meetings in the Hall on Mondays from 7.30pm to 10pm. The club welcomes members of all abilities, and although no formal structured tuition is currently undertaken, the more experienced members are always willing to share their knowledge and help the less experienced. There are members who paint in most of the available media, and everyone is encouraged to try something new from time to time.
Current costs are an annual subscription of £17 and £3.50 per evening attended. N.B. The subscription is only payable after the first term, so that potential members can decide whether the group is for them.

A new initiative, meeting in Buckland Monachorum Village Hall, supporting those living with dementia, their carers or anyone just wishing to join in for a cuppa and a chat. Drop in to meet us at our open planning afternoon 2-4pm - especially for carers and volunteers, see what we are planning and help us shape the future of the club. We look forward to meeting you!
